Quick intro - This is similar to a social media post, where a zoomer talks about his visit to a book fair.
(Quick intro is for the people who are busy, but want to have a glimpse of the topic of discussion, or else feel free to continue.)
So today I happened to go to this local book fair, where the concept is basically to fill the box for a fixed price according to the size of the carton box. I chose a medium-sized carton that cost me somewhere around 1800 rupees. For such an amount, I'd be able to buy around 3–4 books in a bookstore like Crossword. But here at this fair, I managed to stuff the carton with somewhere around 20 books. YEAH, 20 BOOKS. (I've listed them at the end of this blog.)

Previously, I used to buy my copies of books from these leading bookstores because it used to be very satisfying for a basic consoomer like me, with the awesome visual merchandising that they do to push the normal books with high pricing to us, for the store rent that they have to pay for the mall or something.
The book fair I went to today had many different genres of books that could even be considered collectible editions. I managed to pull very old printed books and a few of the banned books. Most of the used books are put on display, so if you're not a big fan of used books, you better don't go. I myself don't like to have old, used books because the book doesn't feel like a virgin to me (LOL). But the main reason I visited was to take a look at those books and the collection they put on display, and anyway, 1800 INR for a carton of books felt like a fair deal. So yeah, I stuffed the carton with a few used and new copies of the books shown below.
I even met an author, Vamsi Krishna, who was selling his own books at one of the stalls; I brought one of his books, Leave Me Alone.

The books I bought for myself are in the picture.
I will update my blog with reviews of the books I bought once I have read them. But if you're interested in knowing why I bought the books in particular or want to know more about them, send me an email.
List of books. ( From left-top to right-down as in the picture )
A memory of light - Robert Jordan - (I don't even know why I bought this, maybe to fill the box. If you know about this book, do tell me about it)
